Zara began her training in ballet, tap and jazz, which later expanded to theatre jazz, contemporary, lyrical, commercial, and heels. Zara is a trained classical, legit and musical theatre singer, as well a motion and performance capture actor, having trained with the Mocap Vaults in London.
Her professional career began as dance captain of a production show team, performing 8 musical theatre and commercial shows in Mallorca with Thompson Family Life. Since then she has worked with Pineapple Studios, Miss Selfridge, Sky Atlantic, Princess Cruises and Eureka Productions.

Biography
Zara is a professional dancer, singer and actress who began her training at age 3. Originally from Cambridgeshire, she trained professionally at Leicester College of Performing Arts in Professional Musical Theatre.
​
Musicality runs in the family as Zara is the granddaughter of the composer, pianist and Ivor Novello award winner Bill McGuffie. Bill recorded and wrote for many films but claimed that one of his happiest moments was touring with Benny Goodman in the 70's.
​
While still at school, she directed and starred in the short film, ‘Tarot’, which went on to win at the Cambridge Young People’s Film Festival in 2012.
